August - what journalists in the U.K. refer to as 'silly month' because with parliament in recess there is little truly newsworthy, and so you get news about someone's cat video going viral on YouTube, health scare stories and, of course, THE FIRST PICTURE OF THE ROYAL BABY!!! ZOMG!!!

First of all, I'm a little behind with Chapter 11, i.e. I haven't actually started it, as I've been working on the outline. ....I'm working on Chapter 8. I don't have Writer's Block, and I'm trying not to panic about stuff.

But there's going to be a lot of background story in this chapter - stuff about 'the Outside' mainly - and guess what? It's not actually that easy to make shit up O__O

The Breeders by ilivetoplaylive - it's a dystopian story - a bit like The Innocents but with an even more fucked-up universe. I know that a lot of people prefer to read 'reality'  based stories, but I'm going to stick my neck out here and say give this story a try because it's really, really good so far.

Yes, a slightly incoherent title, I know.
But DARN, I'm writing Chapter 6, which is pivotal to the whole story, and the first part was ....incredibly easy because it was more background stuff (i.e. more Flock stuff. You love it.
