Yesterday Maddie fussed pretty much all day.  Today she is an angel!!  It's amazing the difference my outlook on life when I have adequate rest.  I'm not getting a lot of sleep, but most nights I get enough to help me feel sane, and last night was a good night.  Maddie even slept in her bassinet for over 3 hours!!

We had a Dr. appt. yesterday afternoon.  Dr. F (our regular OB) is in the Congo, so we had one of his associates for this appointment.  Dr. F is great, and we love him.  He is very relaxed and reassuring, and I've always felt really great when we leave our appointments.  Dr. B, the guy we saw yesterday, was also nice.  But TOTALLY different from Dr ( Read more... )

We officially have a nursery:  Painted with crib, changing area, dresser, book shelf, rocker and mobile.  Even diapers, a stroller and car seat.  All of this thanks to mom and our friends J & T who gave us a bunch of things they used with their girls.  There are still many things we'll need, but the big things are taken care of.  We registered at ( Read more... )

My mom has been visiting since Tuesday last week. I love having my mom around. We celebrated my birthday while she was here. I was spoiled rotten. It's actually a little bit embarrassing. My mom is here!!! birwulf and I picked her up at the airport yesterday afternoon. It is SOOO nice having her here. The ONLY thing I don't like about living in OR is how far away my mom and bro. are.
