It's a party!
My mom is here!!! birwulf and I picked her up at the airport yesterday afternoon. It is SOOO nice having her here. The ONLY thing I don't like about living in OR is how far away my mom and bro. are. We haven't really "done" anything (she hasn't been here very long), but I just love having her around. She is teh best! We will spend 5 days at the coast in week. And Dave will be here in a few days. So fun things coming up.
Today is my birthday. (Thank you all for the great LJ birthday wishes!!) It's been a great day so far. I did have to work today. But the gals at work baked a cake, and a bunch of us went out to lunch (my mom joined us, which was fun).
Tonight birwulf is cooking one of my favorite suppers. (pretty much the entire meal is inspired by str8ontilmornin & serenity_valley) It will be delicious! And momma baked a cake, so a couple friends are coming for dessert. Pretty much the perfect way to spend a birthday. (Except for the work part, but a girl can't have everything).
