.Wow, been away for a bit.  According to the info bar at the top of my screen, I have 191 messages in my box.  I've got it set up to notify me whenever my friends post new entries or change their userpics, so that combined with how long it's been since I've actually visited, I guess it starts to pile up after awhile.

This is hilarious.  I was reading an article over at Politico where basically they're mocking the idea that the media of today is biased in favor of Obama.  First they say admit that the number of articles in today's media have been overwhelmingly negative against McCain and positive for Obama, but they say it's NOT because of ideology.

In the past couple of days I've gone by both Hardees and McDonald's and noticed that pretty much EVERYTHING on their menus has gone up.  The local McDonald's also has less stuff on their dollar menu.  I remember I used to be able to get a meal (ie drink, fries, and something from the meat group) for under $5, and now, the only thing that fits that ( Read more... )
