Okay, that was fun! I just spent an hour outside scraping about 1/2 inch blend of the above off the driveway and sidewalk. Looks like the worst of the big storm hitting the midwest and heading east has missed us. They're predicting another 2-4 inches of snow for tonight, but it shouldn't be too bad. Got the call this morning about 5:00 that school had been cancelled :) and then couldn't go back to sleep. :( Oh well, I've got all day to catch an extra nap. Looks like we got about 6 inches, so not as much as my friends hawk_17 and iamsitta got, but enough to create an hour or so of shoveling! It was one of those early morning phone calls that teachers love to receive as much, if not more, than the kids! NO SCHOOL!!!! A lot of the public school districts were already listed on TV, and I was about to lose hope, but the call finally came. Better to have a late call than no call at all! Yes, I was right!! It's going to be a girl!! Or at least that's what the doctors say. There's no way I could tell by looking at those ultrasound pictures.
