( Belated Birthday Stuff )

NaNoWriMo, for me, is an excellent way to get things done. I procrastinate other stuff all year to write (somewhat haphazardly), then, when I'm supposed to buckle down, I want to do everything else. Mistress Mary, that's me.

This was going to be a long, amusing tale about one girl's whirlwind long weekend.  As 'this' weekend became 'last' weekend, I opted for the shorter, prompter version.  (Aren't you proud of me, Tith?)

As I rounded the corner from the elevator to my office this am, one of my colleagues was crossing the lobby.  The following conversation ensued:

Continuing my annual tradition of summertime major monthly updates, here's what happened in May (I took notes this time):

Friends, like the nice weather, have reappeared after the winter hibernation (a slight exaggeration, but it's much easier to socialize without boots and parkas), and there was a dramatic increase in social gatherings.

The only possible word to describe this weekend was 'glorious' -- 22-25 degrees and sunny with a light breeze both days.

At thirty two I can still pout like a child.
