Not bad for after an event. Though it was an effort to try to avoid all the cookies, chocolate, and cheetos everyone was snacking on. I did crack and have 3 Nutter Butters though. I blame Tara. :)

Pretty low key New Year's which was fine by me. Played some Dominion & Rock band up at Knox's with Wes, Gnome, Cordy & Gunn. We didn't even watch the ball drop as we were too busy rockin'. With Halloween falling on a Saturday I had a chance to sit on Cordy's porch with her, her folks, and Gnome and hand out candy.  It was a slight drizzle but there were still plenty of kids out there. Apparently they had been out there since 1pm (I didn't arrive until 4:30pm) and kids were everywhere.

This past weekend was part 2 of the Silver Kingdom Renaissance Faire. All done now, put away for another year, let's move on to the next thing on the list.

Drove a ridiculous amount miles for only 3 states.

Musical cars, & caravaning, & people swapping. It's never convenient.

Kept Jayne, Wesley, and Xander from turning into sparkly vampires by pointing out that there was a bat flying around the attic. Jayne, Xander, and Gunn handled the situation. I kept a look out. And Cordy locked us all in the attic ( Read more... )

Still working on a theme. Still it seems like every new year can potentially bring about change and hope and Rah Rah Sis Boom Bah, but it just ends up being the same crap in just a different year.

So I'll try something a little different this year, since lately I've been pretty spotty and/or boring with my posts. We'll see how it goes.
