This was a really interesting weekend for me. It was productive and fun, a combination which makes me feel better than most things. There was also some fantastic street harrassment. The weekend in bullets:

• Listening to the Mets lead the Orioles in Fort Lauderdale. Thank g-d for spring training.
• Somebody likes me, and that's pretty nice.
• I met the guy who invented Connect Four!
• Wrote the song that will be last on the new record, and it's beautiful.
• Exhausted from being on the phone til 2am - it's been a long time.

Or, life update week of 2/23:

These are the things that keep me alive, the things i really need in my life at any given time:

• playing music/writing songs,
• social justice work,
• jewish practice,
• connecting with amazing people,
• and of course: adventure, baseball, wrestling.

of all the weeks, this was a good one for a small distraction. other weeks couldn't have accomodated it. and this one really needed it. i suppose there should be a brucha for this. if anyone would like to volunteer to distract me next week, just let me know ( Read more... )
