Saw a documentary on Ralph Nader last night called An Unreasonable Man. 
It was really good. Nader's kinda teh awesome.

Also finished reading Catch 22 today. Also teh awesome. 
Next on my reading list: Shake Hands with the Devil.

I've got a job! W00t!
That is, another job in addition to the two part-time call centre jobs I already have. A writing job. I now write freelance arts reviews for a minor online publication. It's only $50 an article, but I am getting paid, and it's experience and something to put on my CV. Also, I get paid under the table. Yays.

What's been up with me:

Went to Bobcaygeon with my friend from highschool for her son's first birthday party. It was a lovely weekend, if a little chilly. We set off some fireworks with her inlaws by the lake. It was fun. Her mother-in-law is an awesome cook. I had steak for the first time in my life. I don't see what the big deal is.

I don't like it.  So far.

On the whole I am against retcons. I respect Joss' reasons for occasionally disregarding continuity, but imo retcons weaken the suspension of disbelief needed to be fully immersed in a fictional world. On the subway on my way to school today, this guy comes over and sits by me and starts talking to me, like, "Hey how have you been?"
