Update on me ('cause everyone cares sooo much)
What's been up with me:
Went to Bobcaygeon with my friend from highschool for her son's first birthday party. It was a lovely weekend, if a little chilly. We set off some fireworks with her inlaws by the lake. It was fun. Her mother-in-law is an awesome cook. I had steak for the first time in my life. I don't see what the big deal is.
One-year-olds are a handful. I can totally see why Iroquois mothers kept them strapped to their back for their first two years of life.
My sister and I brought the first disc of our Buffy DVDs with us to show to our friend in an attempt to get her hooked. We watched "Welcome to the Hellmouth" and "The Harvest." She like them and was tense and laughed at all the right times. She thought Giles was kinda creepy though. Understandably. He does stand a wee bit too close to the girls.
Got my roots done today. Cost $250. I really shouldn't be spending that kind of money on my hair. But I do anyways. I looked great for my date at least.
Still dating Ewan. We went for sushi tonight. Then we went to see Shrek the Third, which was pretty decent, and definitely had it's moments, but I wouldn't say you have to see it. Then we went for romantic stroll around campus.
We're going to Korean karaoke on Friday with blueanddollsome and David and our friends from highschool. It should be fun.
Also, reading Lolita. Liking it so far. I've already seen the 1962 movie.
Still need to:
- catch up on replying/commenting on LJ (sorry flist!)
- write fic entry for this week's

- sign up for work (seriously low on funds!)
- find out if I can graduate this year and what's up with all that
