I seem to be feeling better today. A long but slow day at work helped, I think, as did not having to walk the scary scary dog that hates only me (owner came and picked it up 10 minutes after I got to work). The box full of tasty isoflurane, anyway. :-P We had a fractious cat come in today for bloodwork, whose chart said in big capital letters right on the front BOX WITH ISO ONLY. The box is a fish tank with a glass lid with holes in, where you can plug anesthetic gas into. All you have to do is stuff a fractious cat inside and clamp the lid down ( Read more... )

Dang it, my problems with alcohol intolerance continue. :( Although last night was, I guess, my best experience with vodka. I had about 2.5 shots of vanilla vodka in creme soda, and it was tasty and delicious and I couldn't even tell I was drinking anything alcoholic.
