This morning after a lovely week spent in Sitges, it was hard to catch the train into town and face the crowds.
When I put the newspaper into my backpack, I instinctively tried to knot its laces the same way I did those on the beach bag: that brought a small, wry smile to my face.

Yesterday the Church of England and HM the Queen made me miss the train.
If I leave work bang on time at 5:30 pm and walk fast, I can often catch the 6:02 from Victoria. The shortest walking route goes past BuckinghamPalace.

We travelled back from Barcelona yesterday afternoon; the week in Sitges was simply fantastic!

It was lovely to share our holiday and the apartment with David and Richard: they are such wonderful and fun people.

Battle over Bruno the bear's body

9 pm and we have just finished washing up.

Lunch was a success: Carlos, Jim, Ross, Wills had a good time and enjoyed the food and drinks (almost 6 bottles - average of 1 each). And so did Adrian and myself.
