All our hard (but enjoyable) work paid off and we had a fantastic Saturday afternoon.
An exhausting afternoon with setting up, then the dress rehearsal, followed by the performance and tidying up.

Our dearest friend David is staying with us this week-end. This evening we are all going to a tango-themed birthday party in Chelsea thrown by one of our neighbours for her 40th birthday!

Yesterday it was the day of the Murder Mystery that we organised as a Residents Association social event.

Adrian, who was the organiser, was a bit stressed until the moment when we were allowed in the church hall to set up at 2:30 pm.

It's my fourth day since I got back from India and it almost feels as if I had never been away. Good or bad: you decide! LOL!

The trip tired me out and I haven't had a chance to get a proper rest because on Sunday we threw a Christmas party for friends and neighbours.

The predicted cold snap arrived on Friday night, and this morning we woke up to some snow.
It only lasted a few hours because it started pouring with rain.

Yesterday David came to visit us and instead of the promised cuppa he got full afternoon tea. It was also the first time we lit the fire this autumn.

Today I'm working only half-day as I'm flying to Turin after lunch to visit my parents.
I am taking a case full of Christmas presents (hopefully this time the case will arrive there with me) but no camera (maybe I will take some pictures at Christmas).

We travelled back from Barcelona yesterday afternoon; the week in Sitges was simply fantastic!
