Mom’s surgery went well. They had to take out more lymph nodes for testing than what they hoped (but had not been outside the realm of possibility). Because of that, though, mom currently has a drain that needs to be emptied 2 or 3 times a day. so i very much recommend the book Wither, the first in The Chemical Garden Trilogy. the characters are interesting, and the concept is terrifying and cool all at the same time. if you want not a fluffy read, this is a good choice ( Read more... )
