"Art is dead"
It ended up being a mildly terrible thing. I might write about it later, but not right now. Suffice to say, my parents find ways to make even joyful days disconcerting.
So a few weeks ago I was on a Barenaked Ladies binge (and oh man, their earlier videos? 90's hair, clothes...LORD) which was quite fun. Now I'm on a Bo Burnham binge. I feel slightly better about finding him attractive now that he's in his twenties (and apparently, he's like freaking 6'5"). I know he's trying to break out as a comedian, and I do find him funny - but listening to some of his newer stuff...I enjoy it, but I feel like it's going into the nerdcore genre (sans references to Star Wars). One of my co-workers doesn't like it as much because she thinks it's "angry" and I guess some of it is. But, hell, early twenties is kind of like that. In between the drinking and other stuff. But that's just my opinion.

I also slammed my upper arm very hard into a metal bar on a door. Hurts, and there's even a bruise coming in.
Re-read Martinez's Too Many Curses, and lent it to my supervisor, and am now working on a book Suz lent me, The Beekeeper's Apprentice. Pretty good so far. I might actually read the rest of the original Holmes series.
