Mom’s surgery went well. They had to take out more lymph nodes for testing than what they hoped (but had not been outside the realm of possibility). Because of that, though, mom currently has a drain that needs to be emptied 2 or 3 times a day. Monday, we’re supposed to call the Dr to let them know the amount of fluid that’s been draining out (so we know when we can get the drain removed/who can do the removing [down here or up in Bmore])
Suzanne gave us each checks to help cover food and things - I just put mine in the checking account cuz I don’t use cash as much.
Started training the kittens for harnesses (for safe outside play when they’re older). Mackenzie was fine with getting it on, though she did keep trying to chew on it; and I took it off when she started doing the leap-and-twist-around-to-get-it thing.
Rose did not hold still to get her harness on. Will attempt late tonight when she is sleepy. (no pictures yet - weren’t patient enough)
Stopped by the Annapolis B&N and ordered two books on reading hangul and bought two English grammar books. I also check four more of the latter out from the library. Now I just have to read them.
There are ants in my car. I am unhappy.
I need to go and take scenic pictures of this area for funsies. And hunt for salt water taffy and thin mints (THIN MINTS).
