It's mostly cool and quiet here in my room, but the sound of the TV and Vic's video game are drifting down the hall and through the door, where the sunlight is playing against the walls and heat pulses inward from the patio.

Earlier this month, the kid's TV show "Arthur" aired an episode about a little boy with Aperger's Syndrome. It does a pretty good job of portraying some of the issues that kids with this form of autism have, along with the positives. So the snow is just coming down and down and down. There's 4 inches against the window here in the bedroom and more than that on the ground. It's all fluffy and white and pretty and it's making me go eeee like a school girl ( Read more... )

Mom picked me up at work yesterday instead of at the high speed line station because she'd gone home early for an appointment that was then canceled. I got to show her my walk between the nearby station and the office and we got to Vic's after-school program much earlier than usual: right before 5pm.
