Where can a chick with thick calves find an inexpensive pair of knee-high boots with low heels?

I have two -- TWO -- giant bug bites on my ASS.

It's not like I don't wear pants, people! I do! Most of the time. Well, in public. And always at work! I think I must have gotten them yesterday while I was sitting on the sidewalk watching a fire extinguisher training. But I was wearing jeans. WTF mate.

Needless to say, work today was interminable.

I got a couple of these yesterday for some reason.

Phone: RINGY DINGY!
Me: Blah Blah Library, how can I help you?
Voice: I had a book on hold.
Me: *prompting to continue* Okay...?

Voice: ...

Me: ...

Me: What was your question?
*conversation continues as normal, with the imparting and receiving of information*

We have money! Thursday evening kendokamel drove highlearn and me up to the Saturn dealership in Greenwood to get our car. We gave the lady, Sandy (who is awesome), our (Ohio) licenses and filled out the credit-check paperwork. While that stuff was being processed, we test-drove the car for a bit.
