Short, yet annoying

I got a couple of these yesterday for some reason.

Phone: RINGY DINGY!
Me: Blah Blah Library, how can I help you?
Voice: I had a book on hold.
Me: *prompting to continue* Okay...?

Voice: ...

Me: ...

Me: What was your question?
*conversation continues as normal, with the imparting and receiving of information*
