+ Two more days of work before my vacation
- Two more days to get all this shit done
- Jim, the lying attorney I mentioned yesterday, sent his response to my motion and it's infuriating.
- This other defense attorney sent me some other bullshit motion.
+ That case is in November so I don't have to think about it till after my vacation.
- I haven't written anything in more than a week.
- I haven't been practicing violin because when I got home last night it was too late to reasonably play and I was wrung out from working late. Tonight is the same.
- I'm out of diabetes testing supplies, and I haven't had time to take care of that. Would really like to before I go off to the woods for a week.
- I weigh a million pounds again, Jesus Christ.
- All I want to do in the evening is go home and eat junk food.
- I was in trial all day yesterday, which I lost. Always nice to leave work late, knowing you accomplished nothing.
- I was in court all day today with ONE CASE, and didn't get a god damn thing done in my office.
- Half my cases for tomorrow didn't get here until after 4 pm, which is why I'm still at work after 6.
- Since breakfast at 8 am I've had a handful of pretzels, two Hershey nuggets, and a truly awful protein shake. I did not get a lunch break or indeed any lunch.
- There's no food in my house and I don't have time to grocery shop, which means takeout again.
- Jesus Christ my credit card bill will be gigantic this month.
- The Jackass and the Bint went at it all afternoon, while I was trying not to stress out over all of the above. I broke down and complained to my boss, who told them to can it. Didn't help.
+ Finally lost my shit completely around 4:30 and screamed at them. Like, literally screamed. This is a plus because it worked, and one of my colleagues thanked me for shutting them up.
- The only thing I've been able to talk about all day is how miserable things are and how angry and unhappy I am.
- I hate the person I become when I'm this stressed at work.
