My mom is a part of a historic preservation organization and they try to do fundraisers and events every month to raise money for and awareness of their cause. Last October was a really busy month for me. For Halloween 2009, Princess Rachel decided she didn't want to be a princess ("I can be a princess anytime!"). She's really into the Scooby Doo movies right now and, of course, wanted to be one of the villains. I made a Snow White costume for my little cousin for Halloween 2008. Isn't she adorable? /biased I was deep in the middle of dissertation writing so I wasn't able to finish a lot of the detail work on the costume that I had planned as well as a matching purse for her to keep her candy in when trick-or-treating.
