As part of my assistantship through school, I'm in charge of the window displays for the Oris Glisson Collection. I have to come up with new display ideas and then pull items from the collection and switch everything out. Depending on the complexity of the windows, this takes me anywhere from 6 to 10 hours to complete. I've been changing the window ( Read more... )

And the Great Table Swap has commenced. I now have a sewing table and... it's a piece of crap. LOL. The drawer is bowed out in the bottom and the entire thing wobbles a little when you try to move it. BUT after what I went through to get the thing, it'll do. I've been quiet for a while, first because it was fall break and I went home for the weekend, then because I was swamped with work and studying for my Qualifying Exams. I just took the exam on Friday and OMG my head almost exploded. It was 6 hours long and I just finished at 5hr45min (with two 15min breaks). Whew! But, I'm done and I don't ever ( Read more... )
