Catholic League Protests 'Golden Compass'

Y'know, it really was only a matter of time before some religious group protested it. I'm kind of surprised it took this long.

Tonight I made Ratatouille for dinner. It was pretty good. It's basically just a bunch of veggies baked in a casserole dish with parmesan and salt. I'm not sure if I made it correctly since I've never had it before. I think I didn't use enough salt. John and I went to see Labyrinth today. It was great to see it on the big screen. Unfortunately two obnoxious girls sat right behind us and had to talk through the entire movie. Not just whispering; talking in full voices. Frequently repeating the lines of the movie, sometimes after the actor. Like they were trying to prove they knew the movie ( Read more... )

I just got back from seeing Stardust. It was as good as I was hoping it would be! Quite good in fact. Definitely worth seeing. I hope to get the DVD when it comes out(assuming I'm not broke at that time). ( Small Spoilers for Book and Movie... )

So, I'm definitely going to go see Beowulf when it comes out, even though I have some problems with it. Neil Gaiman was involved with the writing, so the writing should be good. John and I went and saw Paprika last night. It's quite good, and very surreal. It's not as much like Paranoia Agent as the trailers make it look. It's just generally not as dark as Paranoia Agent. Which I was quite ok with.

I went to go see Ratatouille last night. Awesome movie! If you haven't seen it yet, go now! It won't disappoint. Oh, how I would love to light things for Pixar...
