John and I went and saw
Paprika last night. It's quite good, and very surreal. It's not as much like Paranoia Agent as the trailers make it look. It's just generally not as dark as Paranoia Agent. Which I was quite ok with.
I want to see
Sunshine when it comes out. Like John said, it has a stupid premise, but it looks like it could be a good movie anyway. The film makers themselves are kind of gutsy too.
They seem to have posted every character's death scene on the official web page. o.O I guess they're not afraid of spoilers.
Speaking of spoilers, one of the things I've learn about spoilers is that I don't mind them if the story itself is told well. If it's only an ok story, I do mind them. Which is why I'm probably going to buy the last Harry Potter book this weekend. I like the Harry Potter books, I like them a lot, but they're not good enough to make the risk of being spoiled again worth it. I was spoiled about a certain death in the last book. I don't want that again.
