Congratulations Singapore on winning the 2010 bid for the 1st Youth Olympic Games!

The whole notion of being able to host an international event like this has me feeling kinda excited and really proud for Singapore. Quite like the F1 event happening later this year, I feel that hosting an Olympic games, even if it's a sized down version, is another ( Read more... )

Had a rather interesting JC mini-reunion outing yesterday. I was invited along to join former classmates KS, Yam, Hsien Han and Ian for a meal and probably a movie after. Not bad, I think I could be a tourguide. Yesterday after class I went out with K and Catherine, and after getting my PS3 memory card adaptor, printer and Sammi's DVD for myself, we effectively did a sightseeing city tour of Singapore. Let's see here: Funan the IT mall, CityLink, the Esplanade, the Merlion, Boat Quay and Clarke Quay.

Yesterday, me and BMT best bud Ken went off to the Singapore Indoor Stadium to watch Sammi live in concert.

The world-famous DJ Paul Van Dyk was guest-spinning at ZOUK today so hundreds flocked down to Jiak Kim Street to listen to him spin. I too was there to enjoy his music.

It was quite interesting to see people carrying lightsticks and fireballing or attaching it to their shoes while they did Melbourne Shuffle.. and Sooo many people were doing it.. It ( Read more... )
