I got my laptop back from the ASUS service center already! Now I'm back with my preciousss....
Today, I got to visit this place in SG which I never knew about. Its an arts hub converted from a former school and sits on top of Mt Sophia (and boy what a flight of steps that was). A place aptly named Old School.
I was called there by a friend to support some cancer awareness project by a bunch of students from SMU. It was kind of a surprise, and I definitely did feel out of place when I found out that it was in support of breast cancer awareness. Nonetheless, the stories by the breast cancer survivors were very heartwarming and inspiring.
I even got to chat a little with them. These women are pretty cool in my book because they're apparently all part of an all-womens (all cancer survivors) dragonboat team called the Pink Paddlers.
From within, Strength

An indomitable force combined.

To be honest, I'm actually glad I attended the event.
