I've gotten 3 messages this morning from various sources - quotes, motivation, etc.- basically telling me the dangers of worry, and how it steals joy and energy from today. The really nice thing about working close to home is that I can go home for lunch and have a relaxing time, a nice change of pace, get a kitten fix, and on days like today, spend time with my Honey.

The bad thing is that it's a little *too* relaxing, especially when the Honey is extra snuggy, I'm already tired, & kittens turn the sleep motor on... ( Read more... )

I have the awesomest sweetie! We had sort of planned on having lunch together today, but I hadn't heard from him so wasn't sure if it was happening or not. No worries. So, just after 11, he showed up to surprise me *and* had flowers! And a cute stuffed kitten.

Oh yeah, and Rocco's for lunch.

*sigh*

Think I might keep him. :)

My honey is on the road to becoming a non-smoker again. Today is the first day of him going w/o cigarettes and it's gonna be rough. I'm proud of him, though, for taking steps to reduce the temptation to smoke (we switched cars so he wouldn't smell the smoke ( Read more... )
