Spent the day with a cold and in pain from a fall from my bike yesterday. I'm sneezing and blowing my nose and it's stopped up so I can't breathe. My left eye keeps watering and I've been feeling faintly nauseous for a couple days. Finally!! I just got new vertical blinds in the living room. Same old bland white-ish color but they close. they're even and they close all the way, making the room dark enough to sleep late in. I made three runs on the bike today, somewhere between ten and thirteen miles. Went to Safeway, Walgreens, had to go back to Burmaster because the office was closed for Labor Day and I didn't have an envelope the first time. Went to Safeway today and among my groceries was a whole roast chicken. Almost as soon as I unpack the bag I was slicing chunks of chicken into smaller bite sized pieces and putting them on a plate to devour. Well, I didn't just find the Safeway. I staked it out a long time ago, I was just happy to go to the other nearby one. They're both three miles away, with the old one just a tenth of a miles closer, according to GoogleMaps walking schedule. Had another appointment at the dentist's at the Sacramento Native American Health Center (SNAHC) to get my last four teeth pulled.  I now have no teeth in my mouth.  Eeech!!  They had to give me a couple stitches.  Since my allergies have settled HARD in my poor red and itchy eyes, I asked the nurse to put drops in my eyes.  I just can't do it ( Read more... )

 A lot of money went out today, in cash, check, ATM, and bank card.  I walked to the Sears machine and my back, hips, and belly hurt even before I crossed the parking lot.  I made sure to have enough money for the doctor, Safeway, and three cab rides.  For some reason the Safeway on 19th wouldn't take my card so I had to write a check.  THEN they ( Read more... )

Well, I did my five days on Hydrocodone mostly eating and sleeping.  I still hurt a little bit but it's not the severe pain I had before.  Once I get moving in the morning I;m fine.
