New blinds!!
Finally!! I just got new vertical blinds in the living room. Same old bland white-ish color but they close. they're even and they close all the way, making the room dark enough to sleep late in. Might shift my bedding to the futon tonight just for the change. Instead of the side cord opening and closing the blinds curtain-like, you use the blind rod to push/pull from/to the right end.
Now I can take a shower and go for groceries again. TTFN
I totally forgot about the Daylight Savings time change. It wasn't until I was biking home from Safeway yesterday that I noticed the two different times. The laptops and the weather channel changed and I didn't even notice that they were different from my watch. Haven't changed them yet, though, just the headboard clock/radio.
