Arrived home last night only to discover the condo complex was in a total power blackout. We had been notified ahead of time that there would be intermittent disruptions, all scheduled to end at 2 PM that day. I can't even begin to remember all the things that have happened over these past few weeks. Suffice to say I'm still rather busy at work...busy enough to not have posted to LJ in over two weeks. YAY - I'm off today. I took the day off because the plumber was finally coming by to fix the leaky faucet. It was a task that took him about a half an hour to accomplish. GAH! If only he could have just stopped by on Friday night it would have been so much simpler!!

No speak of the Paris-Bercy final *pouts* If one looks back on the year in tennis, it should be acknowledged that every single tourney (with the exception of the USA Open) that Rafa completed, he reached no lower than the Quarter Finals. Today is the very best day of the month. Why you ask? Well  the pipe under my kitchen sink fell apart...broke into itty, bitty pieces. Heck, they flat out disintegrated in some areas. I discovered the rooftop garden of my apartment building today. It is nothing special except that it provides a lovely view of the lake and the city. Problem is I spent a little too long in the sun while I was up there and now I have a little sunburn. It should turn into a nice tan tomorrow though if that is any consolation.
