Yesterday was my staff retreat day. Ha! What a joke that was. Approximately eight hours of my life I will never get back. Motivational speakers do absolutely nothing for me...although the one of the speakers used some clips from Kingdom of Heaven and Master and Commander. Glad to see (or, rather, not 'see' but find out the results) that Rafa won his first round match in Melbourne. I expected a victory and am pleased with precision at which he completed the task. 6-0, 6-2, 6-2 - finished in less than an hour and a half  - and  ten aces to boot. I can't even begin to remember all the things that have happened over these past few weeks. Suffice to say I'm still rather busy at work...busy enough to not have posted to LJ in over two weeks. Just a thought that has been bothering me of late...when the **** is CBC going to air the second season of The Tudors? At this rate, the DVDs will be out long before CBC even gives us a glimpse of  naked Charles Brandon the French executioner...GAH
