I am so happy the weekend is O V E R. I hate meetings weekends as they completely drain me. It is just non stop. Even my meals are rushed and cannot be enjoyed. The meetings are a complete waste of time IMO - at least the ones I attend are. They can all be completed by conference call but the volunteers LOVE their in person meeting. MEH. Dumb ass meetings over for another month. The only good part of the meetings is sleeping in a king size five star hotel bed which is a significant improvement from what I have at home. I slept like a baby. I only wish I was able to sleep longer than six hours...yep didn't get to sleep until 1 AM because I was typing up the first set of two meeting ( Read more... )

Interesting weekend...the first half was spent at meetings for work. Needless to say, it sucked, but not as bad as usual. The hotel was freezing and I now have an air conditioning cold because of it

Arrived home last night only to discover the condo complex was in a total power blackout. We had been notified ahead of time that there would be intermittent disruptions, all scheduled to end at 2 PM that day. Spent the morning deleting spam from my work email and blocking contacts. The good news is I have less than 15 transfers waiting for me when I get back to work tomorrow. Yes I love that hotel but I really just don't feel like being stuck up there for the next two nights dealing with boring Board Members. No computer, no GOL TV, no Masters Cup,....WAAAAHHH!!!!

At least I don't have to go to the Market on Saturday morning....*evil grin*...good luck with that niviene !!

The dreadful bi-monthly meetings were this weekend and I had three to attend (Finance, Junior & Minor/Junior). Fortunately they were extremely straightforward and brief.
