Took a rather long Thanksgiving break home in Cleveland this past week. It was very relaxing. We met up with Dan and Anne and Isaac. Had a nice Thanksgiving meal at home. I took my mom for a birthday dinner, which I'm home for this year, due to the unusually late Thanksgiving.

Last weekend, I was in Cleveland for PyCon, so Erica got to spend the weekend with grandparents. The conference was really good this year. I very much enjoyed talking to people at the Google booth in the expo hall. The keynotes were phenomenal. Thanksgiving break was great. I really enjoyed spending time with Cleveland friends and family. Though the travel itself was a bit exhausting, the trip was a nice break. Lots to give thanks for this year! I was really glad that Julie was able to join me for the whole vacation this time, and it was a welcome break. Cleveland rapid transit information has been added to Google Maps and Google Transit. GCRTA has a trip planner on their site, but the interface is bad (results not laid out well, directions not clear, maps basically unreadable), and I was pleased to confirm that Google does a much better job.
