I just canned 11 pints of Concord Grape jelly. An older neighbor has a few vines and gave us some grapes. I sent her a jar of the finished jelly to thank her.
I've not done any serious canning this summer. I've just been preserving a jar or two of things that we've had a bit of extra that one can't let go to waste.

I've accidentally made rock candy. There was a tiny amount of the syrup left in the bottle and the sugar precipitated out, forming several clear, square crystals about the size of sugar cubes.
