When I ran out of the syrup I'd bought, I made a homemade batch and poured it into the same bottle.
I've accidentally made rock candy. There was a tiny amount of the syrup left in the bottle and the sugar precipitated out, forming several clear, square crystals about the size of sugar cubes.
It's not nice to put in a fancy new computerized coffee maker in the kitchen. How am I supposed to understand new equipment before I've had my first cup of coffee
