Just a heads up, I am working 17 days in a row without break (the 6th until the 23rd - my last day off until the 23rd is this Saturday and most of these are 8am-9pm days) so I will be saying "no" to a lot of invites out.

FINALLY have my replacement mobo. Stupid thing took forever. Mind you, they had to test it and ensure that in fact, they had sold me a broken mobo. Soon I will have a PCU that isn't singing a swan song (my CPU makes this high pitched "eeeeeeee" noise I am pretty sure isn't good ( Read more... )

I opened my copy of the drivel known as "Breaking Dawn" (Book four in the "Twighlight" series - REALLY guilty pleasure) to find that the author thanked her favorite band...Muse. Dear lord they are everywhere now. I am happy for them though. Also means I was right about them being able to break North America. :D
