One of my favorite things on DA is when kids argue with me about art technique, how the graphic art industry works, and art in general. They're 14 (or whatever -teen) and their gallery is full of the kind of stuff I drew when I was ten years old, but they know more about all of that stuff than I do even though I've been in the industry for five ( Read more... )

So, I haven't mentioned it on here previously but I'm in Vegas right now and will be for the rest of the week. We left on Monday and stayed overnight at the Sandia in Albuquerque before continuing on to Vegas where we are right now at Aria. Standard DA fare. Seventeen-year-old kid who seems trollish (but I think she's just genuinely stupid from past troll experience) starts drama, it gets posted to a drama group, she perpetuates the drama seemingly oblivious to how dense she really sounds, then out of the blue her "cousin" from the other side of the planet enters the fray to tell ( Read more... )
