So, off to the UK today. Internet access will probably be infrequent in the next ten days, although I think most of the hotels we're staying at have free WiFi. Have to leave for the airport in about two hours.

As I am trying to find excuses not to start working quite yet (yes, I know it's Saturday, but do people at work care when they gave me more work, expecting it to get done?), I figured this might be a good time for posting another batch of my summer trip pictures. This time, it's on to Belgium and all Bruges.

Shockingly, I managed to quit working by 6:30 pm or so today, mostly because (a) I'd met my aim for today, (b) my hands and fingers are hurting. I'm now on holiday. Well, officially I'm on holiday as of the coming Monday, which might explain why I still have some 1500 words of work to do today or tomorrow. But that should be manageable. And then there will be three glorious weeks of no work ( Read more... )

Am home. Am totally ded. Enjoyed the trip very much. Paris is lovely.

I have a feeling I won't be able to catch up with my f-list completely, so if there's anything I really should know / something important I've missed since Sunday, let me know. I'll try to read back, but it seems things have been busy!
