As I am trying to find excuses not to start working quite yet (yes, I know it's Saturday, but do people at work care when they gave me more work, expecting it to get done?), I figured this might be a good time for posting another batch of my summer trip pictures. This time, it's on to Belgium and all Bruges.

Bruges was an intriguing town to visit, not the least because of the fascinating contrast between the very extravagant, rich, consistently similar architecture of its old town and ours - ours being so much more austere and simple (and a few hundred years older, but even so - there's such a marked contrast between those two Hanseatic towns).
