Seeing as I'm on holiday now, I decided I needed a small break from sitting at home & worrying about Kribu (she wasn't doing that well yesterday but seems better again now - still healing; it's a lengthy process for an old cat) and mum & I went to the zoo instead.

We've been having visits from a pair of curious blackbirds lately (the ones who seem to have opted to stay for the winter - the overwhelming majority of them don't) but today was the first time I actually managed to have the window open to get a few pics. I've been feeling a little ... adrift, or something, for a while now. No more writing. Reading books is starting to feel like a chore. There is nothing I want to watch. Work was more horrid than usual this week, so I don't really have anything to say.
