Finally got around to getting a couple things done that have waited far too long - did a bit of cleaning of the living room (however, certainly not to "presentable" level, but a nice dent in it). Voted and bought a new operating system the day after its release. All before 10:30 on a Saturday. Wow. Now, if you'll excuse me, I have an operating system to install.

...and that's next, by my estimation. The other toilet decided that it wasn't going to shut off with the bobber thing - it's been having issues with it for awhile (the floating apparatus apparently wasn't buoyant enough to raise the arm by itself or something - but it could be raised and stayed floating once raised), but still was enough of a non- ( Read more... )

It's not exactly something I say much or take much stock in, but I am a wikipedia editor (of very little importance), many of my edits dealing with local roads. One thing about it is the lack of HCTRA (Harris County TollRoad Authority) shields - the signs that tell you what road is what. Ha! I have defeated the weather. I left work and got inside my house right in time for it to start pouring.

Here. Alive. Exhausted.

One of these days, I'll learn how to keep a decent sleep schedule. This is not that day.
