Things I bought today: An American Tail & Fievel Goes West for TEN DOLLARS and Into the Wild for five. So happy. I'm going back soon because they had three Mortal Kombat games for twenty dollars. I can't even talk about it without smiling from ear to ear.

I stumbled across this guy named  Derek Wood's Flickr by accident and I really enjoyed his photography so maybe you will too. It's fun to see how a photographer progresses and improves when going through their photostream -- for me, anyway.

Even after I left the theater I seriously contemplated drawing a crucifix in red lipstick on my bedroom door. Some scary movies (and thrillers) can make me jump, but it's rare that a movie can creep me out long after I've left the theater. Let's just say as a kid my mom didn't disapprove of buying me as many books as I wanted. I've moved most of the books I've read to the basement and I have two plastic containers of books in my closet that I can't bare to take downstairs.
