Tonight I finally got around to watching Capote. The only thing of his I've ever read is "Breakfast at Tiffany's" which has very little to do with the subject of this movie, so it was an interesting perspective to go in with. The snow has finally started here. Coming down looking quite lovely, and the ground is white already. Commute tomorrow should be fun, since the high is only supposed to be 34. Just got back from the late show of "Rent" and thoroughly enjoyed myself. Many of the reviews of the film I've seen in a variety of places have big stories on how important the show was to them which caused massive apprehension about the cinematic version. Has anyone else watched What the Bleep Do We Know? I'm not sure how to classify it exactly...it's a bit documentaryish in that it interviews a bunch of theoretical physicists and medical doctors and theologians, but there's a also a bit of a dramatic narrative going on with Marlee Matlin's character, but that all ties back in with the discussion ( Read more... )

Not impressed by the Regal Cinemas there at all--they gave us tickets to the wrong screening of the movie (the 6:55 rather than the 7:30, when we were buying tickets at 7:20!) and the theater had a funky smell.
