Jonah is going through his wardrobe, dying everything blue and throwing out anything that isn't. And as soon as he tosses something, Taibhse goes behind his back and puts it away in his (Jonah's) closet again. It's rather funny to watch.

Not much happening. So far, the traditionalists have not agreed to the challenge An Gobhainn proposed - I think it's because ... despite their complaints and obstructionism ... they don't have a suitable candidate at hand. I can't rightly say that the river ran backwards, I can't say that it didn't, but the Seelawn Pond at the top of Benny Hill flooded all the way up to the Tavashack caverns. In all fairness to the traditionalists trying to influence Alasdair, the Smith of the Valley does more than smite metals - he's responsible for the very security of the entire neighbourhood. Jonah wants to shave his head and get it tattooed with a blue arrow. I've tried to tell him that that wouldn't go over well around here, but now he thinks he wants to follow the warrior-monks back to Cathay and study their ways. The last of the travelers have left the Valley. They were here for the Feast of Sts Peter and Paul, a week-long fair held on the commons in the village. There were merchants of all kind, including traders from the further reaches of Underhill.
