Summaries can tell you a lot about a fanfic. (For instance, many of the ones I come across tell me that there will be a lot of typos.) My complaint stems from being told too much.

I long for a good, epic KH adventure fic, and so where else do I go, but the Pit?  Hell, I'm even fine with a mild-Sue [Note: mild, not extra-spicy] main character as long as its well written and the Sue doesn't get too out of control.  I do like OCs, after all.

1. Vary up the style up in your fics. I've noticed that a lot of fics have the same style. It's hard to describe, but they do. Lots of adjectives, lots of descriptions of what characters are doing, no change in the style. Look, in order to make a fic more unique, you need to make your own style. Look at Agatha Christie. What the heck is "Non-Sexual Non-Con"? 
Last time I checked "Non-Con" stood for "non-consensual" as in non-consensual sex.  So... how can you have non sexual sex?
