Friday was an insanely busy work day with a lot of cake, followed by Old Crow Medicine Show with stentoriansista, prettyprincessb and mareska. I forgot to mention... with my tummy being punky on Friday, I ate several Pepto Bismol tablets. I woke up Saturday morning to... a black tongue. It's one of the side effects of Pepto Bismol chewables, but it definitely freaked me out first thing in the moring, like... did I have a lot of grape popsicles?! Saw a preview screening of Ms. Pettigrew Lives for a Day. Really liked it. It was sweet and it had Ciaran Hinds, who, despite being in his middle years and weird looking, I'm strangely drawn to. I saw Pan's Labyrinth on Thursday with stentoriansista. It was fabulous. It's very much an old school fairy tale, completely, utterly and horribly brutal, but the same time beautiful and sad.
