Saw a preview screening of
Ms. Pettigrew Lives for a Day. Really liked it. It was sweet and it had
Ciaran Hinds, who, despite being in his middle years and weird looking, I'm strangely drawn to. I'm such a freak. The plot was horrendously predictable and
Lee Pace's British accent was just horrendous. (but he can sing, which bodes well for
Pushing Daisies) For some reason, Amy Adams sounded terrible when she sang - I think it was a character choice to show that she wasn't an experienced, weathered singer, but her enunciation was bad and her vowels were weird, way too nasal.
Frances McDormand was awesome and
Moaning Myrtle was in it and also awesome.
So yes, 3.5 out of 5. A solid happy movie.
