This storm is terrible as its not even on shore and there's major flooding in much of the Mid Atlantic from the heavy rains. I can only imagine what tomorrow will be like. Its amazing that the cold front that was moving east towards Sandy had stalled two nights ago right over top of Western New York. There's more snow in places like the Mogollon Rim of Arizona this year than in Buffalo. And I wouldn't complain as driving in snow sucks and Arizona needs it far more than WNY does. Snow is so much better at relieving droughts than rain as the snow melts at a pace that can be absorbed by the soil better than the rain which tends to run off ( Read more... )

Soo yeah I was going to class not too long ago and the car stalled after I started to accelerate after a signal going green. Basically what happened was the car stalled when I pressed the gas past a certain point. Apparently the Sun had a major fit and under went four Coronal Mass Ejections.
