THe plane back was definatly more packed.  THat's never a good sign.  It was actually weird to arrive in st. Things I almost forgot about New Orleans:
1)The size of the roaches.  No wonder I have nightmares about them
2) The humidity.  St Louis is hot and all, but in New Orleans you sweat absolutly everywhere you go.  I had coffee at 10pm outside last night.  It looked like i had run 3 miles after half an hour

This was the first time I flew into New Orleans post-K. I flew on American, on a flight that a year ago would have been descently filled, esp since its tourist season. The didn't even give us a big plane this time. It was one of those little "AA Connect" ones. There were 20 people total on the flight. Just 20. I was too tired to make conversation ( Read more... )

I'm pretty sure if one of the kids at the pool tonight started to drown, it would have taken a lot of will power for me to get in and save them. They annoyed me for 6 hrs straight.
