Happy birthday inquisitorbob! I hope you like your cakes as much as we did, eating the 'spare parts' last night (I made sponges which domed somewhat so I cut the tops off to make them flat and stuck the tops together with leftover butter icing to make a kind of 'dome sandwich' which went with me to 1st. Friday I was off sick with a nasty cold but that didn't stop me getting out of the house and doing some shopping (and likely infecting everyone there: better strangers than workmates!). This weekend I went into town early on Saturday and trawled the pound shops. I bought some Christmas presents for Matt, some stuff for Halloween next year (see this post) and a few other bits and bobs. Had a quick look at computer networking on About.com this morning and I'm thinking it'd be nice to network the two we have: both have network adapters so that shouldn't be a problem.
